Princess Loaisa woke with everything around her throbbing. Her head, her shoulders, and neck, her throat dried, her most of all, her heart was in the same pain as it was before she fainted. Grimacing, she blinked at a very odd room. It was small and bare. Everything was grayish and dark. There was not a single curtain: nothing but the small old chair on the corner of the bed. Bed, Princess Loaisa repeated in her head as she glanced at the single bed she was lying on. It was the smallest bed she had ever seen in her entire life. It was hard against her small frame despite the soft, yet thin cushion. The blanket was thin and could hardly cover her body and yet she was sweating all over. The single window on the corner was small. It was put there for air ventilation, but it did little of its
