On top of being hurt and in complete shock that my mother actually smacked me, my anger was growing and I knew that there was no way I was going to be able to control or stop myself from completely unleashing on her. It's not something I ever thought I would do to someone, let alone to my own mother especially with her health condition but this has been enough.
