Just as expected, no one was in the attorney's section of the building when I walked in. There were other people walking around the complex and getting around but not here. I quickly got to my desk, hung up my coat and purse, and then turned the computer on. The first thing I did was go through my emails and start saving each file under the attorney that is handling their case with their name and date that they filed the case under.
By the time that was done, the paralegals were starting to flood into the building. I kept looking up to see if I was seeing Catherine walking in but she was nowhere to be seen.
