Chapter 15 Cal looked at his father slumped across the table from him. They were in the back corner of the Brass Plover, nursing a burger and a beer. It was packed to the limits, but May had found a spot for them close by the kitchen. “Tomorrow’s got to be easier.” “Sunday,” Cal agreed with a groan. “Tourists leave early on a Sunday.” “Why were we greedy enough to stay open on a Sunday?” “Wasn’t greed,” Cal shook his head.
