He hadn’t gone out to the B&B to see if Natalya was still in town. The Corvette still parked out there had given him the perfect excuse for an afternoon walk, but he hadn’t gone. Part of him didn’t want to know if she’d left town or not. Another part didn’t want to intrude if she hadn’t.
