Skylar's POV:
Keeping up the intense glare that the leader and I were looking at each other with, I positioned myself so that I was ready to attack or defend myself.
"I'll tell you again." He said, not looking away or dropping his stance either.
I could see Julia, ready with her stance as well. I could also see how she was trying her absolute best to not cringe in pain from her cuts which were starting to look even worse. Those wounds really need to be wrapped or else they could get infected.
"You two aren't going anywhere." Said the leader sternly as he dropped the glare and his stance.
I eyed him cautiously as he stood where he was casually and free to be attacked easily. What's he thinking?
