Skylar's POV:
As I continued looking down at the scene of the forest from above in the helicopter as the fire continued to slowly engulf everything, my hands wouldn't stop fidgeting around as the heel of my right foot bobbed constantly.
I felt a hand cover mine and immediately I flinched. It wasn't from disgust or fright. It was because I couldn't seem to think straight and everyone seemed to be blocked out of my mind at that moment.
"Relax Skylar. It's over." Chris said in a calming tone that seemed to work at first before all my worries flooded back into my brain, reminding me why I was fidgeting around nonstop in the first place.
