“Babe” I heard my mate’s gentle voice, as he called me back to the present. I opened my eyes and looked up at him.
“We’re here.” He said as his gaze moved to the left. I turned my head to see where he was looking at. Seeing that in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of an open field, a tiny cabin was standing.
“Is that it?” I asked Noah in wonder. He hummed as he nodded.
“GPS says it is. Ready to go and have a look?” I swallowed as I slowly nodded. I needed to do this, for myself. I opened the door and stepped out, forcing myself to keep moving, one step at a time. Once I would stop and start to think, I would be lost. I would turn around and run away.
Noah walked over to me and placed his arm around me, pulling me close as he placed a kiss on my forehead.
