The first thing I did when I got home is to actually take a really long, warm, and relaxing shower. I scrubbed my body with a generous amount of soap, taking my sweet time to wash away all the dirt and stress away from me.
Luckily for me, Lorenzo's parents agreed to spend some time with my parents while I took the shower and I can only hope the two of them had something nice to say about me so my father somehow calms down a bit before I start to recite how my life went for the past few weeks.
When Alpha Lucas and Luna Hazel noticed me descending the stairs, they excused themselves so I can have some privacy to talk with my family. It was very sweet of them and I was thankful that I had people like them in my life.
