Katrina turned to get the needle and test tubes out of the drawers. Tony ignored her. He only had eyes for Lindsey. It amazed him, the way that her mind worked. The only reason she was doing this was for him and his people. She had no thoughts of herself. To her way of thinking, she was healed, so there was no point in doing the tests for her. But if she could help them understand what was going on, then they would be better prepared should this situation ever arise again with another couple. She was all about helping other people but never herself. It astonished him considering the way she grew up. How someone as beautiful as her could come out of the environment she had been in was almost more than he could comprehend. And she was beautiful, inside and out.
