Taking a deep settling breath, she looked at him and nodded her head. “Okay. I’m ready.”
Pride shining through his eyes, he placed the backs of his wrists on his knees and assumed a meditative position. “Alright, I want you to do what I do. We are going to meditate first to clear your mind. The first connection is always the hardest. It’s like our telepathy. The more you use it, the more it becomes second nature.”
He waited while she copied his stance. “You won’t always have to do this to connect to your lioness but since you are new at it, we’ll start you out with the same exercises we use to get the cubs to connect and learn to control their beasts.”
