Adens point of view Emma kicked the door open and stormed past me. I probably could have done more to stop her, but I was in a state of shock. I could hear her yelling. I could see her slap Hannah repeatedly, but it was like I was watching through the glass. They were right there but just out of reach. I wanted to step in and help, but I couldn’t make my body move. I knew I should help Hannah. She wasn’t even defending herself. I should be calming Emma down. I could do anything, and it would be better than what I was currently doing, which was nothing. It was so surreal it was like I no longer had control over my own body. Finally, I managed to snap back to reality, and I jumped in between the two women. I didn’t want to hurt Emma, but I needed to get her away from Hannah. This was bad
