Two years later “ go, Alex”, I yell from the sidelines. I’m so excited that I can’t help but jog a little down the side of the field with him. I’m probably embarrassing him, but I don’t care, I’m incredibly proud of the effort he’s been putting into the game, and I’ll show it if I want to. He asked to play football this year, and I was really happy about it. It has always been my favourite game, I even played as a boy, and it was something my dad and I bonded over.
