Greg had quietly offered up his place after he’d joined everyone out in the hallway and they’d all been sitting in his living room silently as they processed what had just happened.
Finn was the first one to break the silence. “I’ve never seen Lara that angry or… cold,” he said.
“It was kind of scary,” Dean said somberly.
Greg had to agree. He’d seen Lara mad, upset, close to breaking down, but never had he seen her so ruthless. He’d known how Lara felt about her mom but watching her turn away the woman had been almost painful. She was the only family Lara had left and Greg had stupidly thought that there might be a chance for Lara’s mom to earn forgiveness.
“Her mom is a b***h,” Charlotte informed the group. “That woman deserves the s**t Lara is giving her.”
