*Joel’s POV*
I keep Nicolina close to me while I get ready to compete.
Theo called and said he was staying at the ranch tonight as it was going to be cold, so I make sure Nicolina is warm, and when I have to compete, Lissa stays with Nicolina
When my events are finished, I go and wrap my arms around Nicolina and rest my hands on her stomach
“Are you ready to go home, sweetheart?”
I ask while I nestle my face into the crook of her neck
Nic chuckles
“I’m ready for you to take me out to dinner and then maybe ice cream.”
“I think I can manage that.”
I put my jacket over Nicolina’s shoulders, and then we walk to the car
And go to a bit of cafe so Nic and I can have some dinner
