*Nicolina’s POV*
I make sure I have everything before saying goodbye to my mum and dad, then I run out to the bus. I'm excited to get on the road and spend time with Joel and start our adventure.
Joel meets me at the bus door, then scoops me up and carries me onto the bus. He already has Mila in her seat and has given her toys to play with during our drive. We wait for Travis and Todd to leave the ranch, following them. I watch Joel maneuver the bus down the winding road, and I settle in my seat; looking at the scenery, my heart begins to race when we get to the part of the road my car crashed, and Joel notices how on edge I am “it okay Nic what happened to you will not happen again I promise.” I look at him and give him a tight smile. “I guess I have some trauma from the accident”, Joe
