Jojo’s P.O.V. I rocked back and forth, my fingers wrapped tightly around the stem of my wine glass as I stared out at the dark expanse of the Miller land. The porch light above me cast a warm glow, but beyond that, the night stretched wide and endless, the sky an inky black canvas sprinkled with the faintest stars.
