Everything in me wants to run right now. All these thoughts in my head after hearing the king say the pup is Alfonso's makes me want to do just that, but I promised him we would talk. I make my way back to Georgy's room. I bang twice before the door flies open. My face must say everything because Georgy pulls me into the room and closes the door behind me.
"Gemmy, what's going on" she asks, panic in her voice. "I went to find Alfonso. I followed his scent when he wasn't in the king's office." I feel like I can't breathe, but I push through it.
