Gemma POV
Gentle fingers brush through my hair and my mother's scent surrounds me as I begin to wake up. I didn't get much sleep last night with everything that happened. The little sleep I did get was plagued with images of Alfonso with Ember. I slowly open my eyes and my beautiful mother's smile greets me.
"I know you must be exhausted after Georgy told us you didn't get much sleep, my sweet girl, but there is a very anxious vampire prince downstairs that would like to talk to you. Do you feel up to speaking to him" she asks. Elora stays quiet but I know she is listening.
