“Though I won’t let him ever hurt you.” His words were soft as he mumbled them as he moved over to her gently kissing the top of her head before moving off to the house. Now she had to figure out what she could do to help Nicholas. It would be impossible to get near him to remove the necklace. She had a feeling Nicholas and Victoria wouldn’t be straying from one another again. Maybe if she watched him at school the next few days she might be able to do something? Maybe she could look at the magic that was in the necklace. “Let’s eat dinner together now and then I have somewhere I will need to go.”
