"If that is what you believe, though witches don’t believe in such things as mates." Nicolas tensed up around her and she could feel his anger radiating off of him. Then she felt Liam’s eyes devouring her and she forced herself not to stare into them while he continued not giving Nicholas any time to speak out. "I'll see you later my dear Lylah. I believe we will have to find another time for us to be alone." Liam completely ignored Nicholas and turned away from them. Though she didn't miss the look of anger that his eyes held while he turned away and she could tell it was directed towards Nicholas. Thankfully, he continued to move back into the crowd of people and disappeared. Next to her she could feel Nicholas's anger still radiating off of him and could see it as his eyes glowed.
