With a smile on his face, he leaned down and kissed her on her lips and held her tight to him. He deepened the kiss having missed her so greatly, but moved back from her to place his head on hers. “I love you Lylah. I’m so glad you are safe and back home.” Lylah held a blush on her face and then she looked over his shoulder. He really hadn’t been paying enough attention and everyone seemed to be outside now watching them. The blush on her face deepened and she went to move away some, but he couldn’t find himself to let her go. Instead, he kept her hand in his to afraid to let her go again.
She looked at him and he could see that she felt sad that he felt this way and smiled to him in understanding. “It’s okay. I won’t let anything get between us again. I’m stronger now.” W
