“I am so sorry…” Wyatt managed to speak as he kept his body pointed towards her as she was now wrapped in a blanket upon his couch and a glass of wine set in front of her. “I can’t believe he could be such a dick...I mean, I knew he was...but I know it won’t help to hear that…” Holly knew she couldn’t fight this fact, even though every part of her wanted to jump at his defense-she knew it would only cause her more pain. Due to this, she simply removed her wine glass from its coaster and drank the remains of its contents before Wyatt got the hint. “Do you want a refill?” He asked as she shook her head, feeling woozy at the fact that had been her third. Wyatt remained across from her, trying to distract her with a conversation of the news, the weather, even politics that had bored them both-
