I was excited. Hindi ako makapaniwala na aayain ako ni Maverick upang maging date niya sa prom next week. He has been my crush for how many years already, and I never knew he would even know that I existed. Tumingin ako sa malaking salamin na nakapaskil sa gilid ng aking kuwarto. I was fat and my face was full of pimples... I had my insecurities too, and the fact that Maverick approached me to ask me for a date was surreal, kaya naman ilang beses kong pinisil ang aking sarili... Naramdaman ko naman ang sakit, kaya alam kong totoo ang lahat ng ito.
Who would have thought though, that even a fat person like me with an ugly face will get the happiness that she never thought she deserved? Sino nga rin ba naman ako upang tanggihan si Maverick?
