Bel made a discontented noise in the back of his throat, bordering somewhere on a tsk and a choke. “Some things never change indeed.” He said dryly, sitting back on his haunches to examine Emma. “I guess some things are just destined to take a fated course. Last time, it took you several pregnancy tests and an encounter with a spirit to believe me too. Hmm.” He tapped his chin. “Even Luci had to get involved.” He mused.
