Bethany has worked her magic again; Bob and Pam are linked to us through their laptops and a huge television screen, just like in the hospital. I assume she spoke to Ben or someone in the palace to give her access. Knowing it was a link back home, it might be beneficial for the palace to comply and get on the good side of the group; a happy Bob and Pam might mean they can get a good foot in the door, so to speak, I can understand their reasoning, and as Pam is an ex-undercover cop, she might see this too.
