My surprise to see Bob standing when I reached the front of the hall was nothing compared to the shock of him standing on his own when we were presented to the crowd and our identities revealed; I thought he had been helped and Ben was supporting him, but then, he had an even bigger shot for me.
He took me out onto the dance floor and held me to him, and I saw in his face the love he had for me. I was so shocked and happy that I could not stop the tears from flowing. Bob managed one whole dance. This was more than I could have dreamed of on this day. I thought for sure we were the only ones to be left sitting at the table while watching the rest dance, and though I did not mind, I secretly hoped for more. Bob, as he had done in the past, surpassed my expectations, and we danced;
