Hank POV The house was a rush of excited nervousness as the children got ready and were taken to school for their first day. More Heather and I, or possibly more me, than the children were in a rush, as they seemed to follow instructions without hesitation. It was unnerving how obedient they were. Now, we were home, and it was quiet, with a sort of empty feeling about it, as Heather and I went to the girl's room and intended to clean it. To my shock, the room was clean and tidy, with beds made and dirty clothes in the hamper. This was unlike any child's room I had ever been in; nothing was out of place.
