The same night…
Two men were in the side garden of the small castle-like home owned by the bearded man. The other man was carrying a cane in his hand, and he sat on a garden chair. The bearded man followed him and sat in a chair opposite him. They both blew smoke from their piped cigars.
“Lord Thaddeus, are we sure no one catches her?”
“She’s in a floating vessel on her way to Norway and will take the land transfer to Sweden.”
“How did the fool not know that there are surveillance systems installed in the palace? They now have a picture of her. They know how she looks, and sooner they will know who she is.” The man with a cane uttered agitatedly.
