Monday morning…
“Don’t tire yourself too much,” Alik kissed Elisha's temple while he escorted her to the Queen’s office. He made sure she was comfortably seated before he left the room.
When the door to the Queen’s office closed behind him, he saw Phoebe on her way to the Queen’s office in a rush. She made her curtsies to him and then dashed to the Queen's office. Alik turned around and followed her with a perplexed look.
What could be the reason why Phoebe once again acts like a cat on a hot roof? Was there any problem? He thought. However, she did not inform him; therefore, he couldn’t meddle. Phoebe would have mentioned it to him if it was something that needed his attention. He heaved a deep sigh and shrugged it off. Then he walked towards his office.
