There was a monster inside me.
It was Oberon. Not a child. I could feel it. Sense him. He was there, as I rode with Hook. He was behind me, his arms wrapped around my waist in a possessive way. Not that it mattered, since no one could see him.
But I could see him. That was enough for me. It was like an invisible weight around me. A warning not to do anything that might go against him.
