“Did something actually happen with Emma and Hook?” Adelaide asked once we were upstairs, away from the commotion downstairs. “Because that’s a little---”

“Trust me, she was appalled when she saw that. It isn’t as if there’s any truth to any of that show, and Emma certainly isn’t any relation to the Emma from there. In fact, she was named because of the Jane Austen book. The Once Upon A Time thing is a huge coincidence, although for a while Emma thought that some human was trying to be like our grandfather and steal stories from our lives, but she could never find any connection between the two. Except for the Hook thing.”
