I awoke with a start and sat up in bed. What the heck was that? I know I heard Gavin's voice asking me to wait for him, but I was confused. The Moon Goddess had told me that neither Gavin nor Jet would be able to visit me in her realm. And while I didn't see either of them while I was there, I did hear his voice. I need to talk to Pa about this. Maybe he has some insight as to how or why Gavin could send thoughts to me.
Glancing at the clock, I saw it was already five-thirty in the morning. No sense trying to go back to sleep as I had to get up at six for morning training. I got up and got ready for the day.
