I got dressed then went looking for my phone, but before I could locate it there was a knock on my door. I opened the door to see Ma and Pa so I invited them in. "Hey, shouldn't you be resting?" I chided Ma. I then looked past them expecting to see Jaxon and Sophie. Noting their absence I asked where they were.
"They wanted to have a play date with the other kids on the floor, so they are all down in the arena with your protection team and their famlies," Pa clarified. "Which works out well, because Ma and I need to talk to you."
I gave them a quizzical look, then suggested we get comfortable. They both declined refreshments by Pa saying it was best we got down to business. That kind of freaked me out. Didn't think we had any pending business. But I was proved wrong by Pa.
