Amara was nervous, her breath hitched as she slowly got dressed, the clock ticking loudly and incessantly, further adding to her nerves. Why was it so loud? The dress floated around her, the white one she'd chosen so long ago with Damien's approval, her makeup minimal. She paced back and forth. Damien had chosen to go downstairs and check on the preparations, leaving Amara to her own devices and allowing her to get ready on her own.
