Amara stared around, feeling dismal. None of the other creatures would even look in her direction, let alone speak to her. The whole atmosphere in the room was bleak and gloomy. Clearly, none of them had the fight within them to even attempt to escape, which Amara found extremely sad. She heard the creak of a door and then saw a panel in the side of the room pull back to reveal a person, wheeling in a trolley of some sort. That made the creatures sit up and pay attention, Amara saw with curiosity. It seemed like it was just an ordinary human, but as she peered closer, she saw that they were wearing a collar of some description with some weird inscription on it that she couldn't decipher. It wasn't any language she had seen before. The woman was tiny, her hair disheveled, her eyes blank a
