Looking up from the letter, I see that the others are all looking at me with a mixture of expressions. Ash looks puzzled. Mara and Eris have mirrored expressions of horror and bemusement and I can feel the uncertainty in Hunter coming through our shared Bond. “Why would she say she wanted to meet?” I mumble to myself, my eyes scanning down the page in front of me.
Dear Rosalia,
I am sorry to have been informed of Morgan’s actions in my absence. To clear up your confusion, I did write the second letter you received, but I did not expect you to accept my invitation. Morgan’s actions were unforgivable, and I will deal with her accordingly.
Hopefully, by now you have healed from her attack, but if that is not the case - and that may be so given her fond inclination for long
