The next two weeks are tense like you wouldn’t believe. Hunter and I continued to argue over Heidi among other things - neither willing to back down but also not willing to admit what we were actually arguing about. Each other. We ended up avoiding each other as often as we could, our conversations turning to anger when we argued. And that happened a lot. A lot.
But the avoidance was easy considering the number of problems we were buried under. We quickly split our time between the constant enigma of what I was, Chalice’s continually worsening condition and my own issues with Heidi, considering I was still adamant that she wasn’t here to be helpful (or that she has a heart either, but don’t tell anyone I said that or I’ll kill you.
