A year later.
I smiled to myself as I waited for Mia in my car. I looked to the side at the flowers I got for her and then glanced down at my watch, wondering when her class would be over today. My world and I couldn't wait any longer. We wanted to see our mate now.
Just a few more minutes to go, I chanted in my head.
It was the biggest win in my life when I finally convinced her to resume her studies. She was reluctant at first, but I managed to talk some sense into her. It took me weeks to persuade her into it, but eventually, she let her guard down and admitted that she did want to get a diploma.
