I spent about an hour or so in my wolf form, just grateful to have her back in my life. I was hyper-aware of Nolan's gaze on me, and it made my wolf feel excited. She was glad that she could finally meet her mate in person.
I felt disappointed when it was time to shift back to human form. Time does fly when one is happy, isn't it? What made me feel more disappointed if that's possible was I didn't get to run through the forest.
It has been a long time since I did that. I am sure both I and my wolf would love that.
But it was too dangerous.
My clothes got ripped when I shifted into my wolf. So when I shifted into human again, I was standing there, stark naked. It is a good thing Nolan quickly pulled his shirt over his shoulder and handed it to me to cover myself.
