A week ago …
“What do you mean it’s all over?” I ask Cy confused.
“We get to have our lives back.” I smile.
“No more hiding?”
“Mhm, just you and me.” I jump into his arms with a big smile on my face. It only hits me after a while as we cuddle on my office couch that we’ve been in here for hours and I’m pretty sure that my employees saw him burst in here. My cheeks turn crimson from embarrassment. “What is it.” His groggy voice rings in my ears. I hide my face behind my hands like a little child.
