Cy's P.O.V
There's just always something, every fucken time! Her and I just can't seem to catch a break.
"You knew." It comes out as more of a whisper, like she's trying to understand. Kim puts down the cup of coffee she just made for her while I rub her back, soothing her. "You knew about the fire before I told you, didn't you? That's why you basically dragged me out of the building, after you got that call, someone had already told you about it." She turns to me, eyes wide and covered in tears.
"Aurora." I try to explain but she cuts me off.
"Okay." A knock coming from the door serves as a distraction, making everyone a little jumpy.
"Eric let him in, it's okay he works for me." And Mikey walks through the door.
"Boss, we need to talk." I look at Eric, Kim and Aurora.
