"What did you think would happen?!" Ben asks agitated.
"Not this! Look.." I breathe out, pushing my hair back. "Of course I expected her to be in shock, I just didn't expect her to run away, from me." I slump down on his office couch in frustration.
"What was it like to see her again?" I turn to him, shaking my head as if I'm shaking away the haze I'm in.
"It was .. surreal, the moment I saw her it was as if something tugged at my heart and I don't think I can ever turn it off." I confess.
