Mia’s P.O.V
Heading out of the office I head to my favourite restaurant for my lunch break, ordering my usual medium pizza, steak with mashed potatoes and a peanut butter milkshake, I take out my laptop and start working. Seeing the waitress make her way to my table I move some of my things to make room for her to put the food down.
“Here you are Miss Rodrìgues.”
“Thank you so much.” I smile at the waitress and take a sip of my milkshake. Taking another sip I keep editing my emails, all of a sudden I start feeling woozy. Trying to shake my head for clear vision I quickly get up and head to my car. I need to call Cy. “Oh, are you okay? Let me help you.” I hear the waitress’s voice echoing.
