Mariano's POV
B finally falls asleep whereas I loose mine. The way she was screaming for them to stop hurting her sister, it made me wonder what exactly they were doing. I really hope it isn't what I think it is but that is the possibility that stands out the most. For the most part, she wasn't here. She was back in the orphanage, trying her best to save her little sister. The agony and the anguish that I saw in her eyes and the amount of hurt in her voice as she screamed for her sister made my heart ache in pain as if I could feel what she was feeling. Her screams and the tears had the power to bring me to my knees and twist my heart in a very painful way.
I know what I feel for her is more than just liking someone. I am not ready to acknowledge that fact yet, but deep down I know what
