After meeting with Ancalagon, the original elemental dragons, and their mates, I realized that my angry outburst towards Prince Aratan may not have been the wisest move. At the time, I was just furious about him saying I needed to be claimed. While no one, except maybe Merethyl, blamed me, I realize that it will cause more problems for all dragons. King Arbane and King Ilvisar have both lost their sons and they will be furious about it.
Personally, I think it’s a good lesson for all elves. They think they’re above the power of a dragon. They aren’t and they’re starting to learn that lesson.
