It’s been two days since Kendrick and Nova left. Zephyr got a call this morning from Nova, letting her know they are safe and that she’s in Kendrick’s pack. Apparently, she proudly displayed her official mate mark, the typical werewolf mark on her neck.
Nova’s mark on Kendrick had been a typical fire dragon image; fierce, fire-breathing, and ready to battle anyone who tried to take her mate from her.
It makes me wonder what my mark would look like on Yhen. Probably the same if he’s able to claim me. I know I feel fiercely possessive of him. I’m guessing my image would reflect that as well. I grin, thinking of his pale skin glowing red with ruby scales. Unlike the others though, Yhen’s would have my onyx stripes down the side, a clear indication that I am also my father’s daughter.
