After two weeks of working from home, Greg finally reported to the office. He had an important meeting that he needed to attend personally. He and Steve had been in constant communication through email. Their conversations were formal and were purely about business. Greg believed that they can work together without awkwardness since they’ve already proven in those two weeks that they can both be professional toward each other.
“Good morning, Sir.” The guard on duty greeted Greg as soon as he stepped inside the lobby of their building. Greg bowed his head slightly and hurriedly walked toward the elevator. Its doors were already closing so he ran a little faster and pressed the open button. Luckily, it opened again and he immediately stepped inside.
