Abe signed the papers with an illegible scrawl, his interest in the task having run out quickly.
“If she runs this place, why not make her CEO?” Ida pondered aloud, making Ms. Darling jump.

“No.” Darling cut him off before he could wax poetic.
Ida chuckled. “So you don’t...?”
“Oh god no.”

Darling sighed, snagging Abe as he tried to escape into his workshop and tugging him back be his sleeve to shove more papers into his hands.
