Sami’s P.O.V.
I took a couple of steps back from the wagon that was holding the witches and wizards captive. I needed to think and come up with a plan that was both fast to carry out, and one that held little flaws that could potentially go wrong while trying to get it done. The last thing I needed right now, was to get away from that monster of an Alpha, only to get caught by his men by acting too fast or too foolishly, because I hadn’t thought things true. But I was surprised, as Indi grabbed me by my elbow, making me look up to face her big brown eyes.
“Let me do it.” She whispered at me, to which I frowned.
“Do you think you can?” I asked her, and I was surprised by seeing a hint of hurt in her gaze, as if she didn’t like me doubting her.
